Thousands ordered out of Ariz. town as fire nears
Tue Jun 7, 2011
I live in Phoenix and it is so sad to see the Wallow Fire devastating so much of eastern Arizona. It is one of the most beautiful areas in the state. My hearts go out to the people affected by the rampaging fire, which is uncontrollable due to the high winds.
Palin: I didn't mess up Paul Revere history
Sun Jun 5, 2011
It's a shame that such a stupid person like Palin continuously covers her mistakes every time she opens her mouth. She re-wrote history - Revere was not a bellringer, he did not cause a big commotion as he was on a secret mission. Good Lord, will this woman stay at home and bake cookies!! Th …
Aaron Sorkin: Palin is deranged and TLC should be ashamed
Wed Dec 8, 2010
I haven't been watching TLC's Palin show - I'm boycotting it. To show on camera an animal getting shot at and dying is revolting to me. Palin is in our faces 24/7 for the publicity. I do not care about her predictions and opinions about politics.
Are you pleased with the framework of Obama's tax-cut deal with Republicans?
Tue Dec 7, 2010
The middle class is tired of having the rich getting off paying their fair share in taxes. C'mon, anyone with $1 million can afford a tax hike! Wall Street execs are doing quite well (love to see their Christmas bonuses while I get no COLA in my measley Social Security checks) and big oil execs are …
'Dancing' judge thinks Bristol might be in the finals
Thu Nov 11, 2010
I'm surprised at all the good dancers that have left DWTS so soon, while Palin hangs on. The scoring on the show needs to be changed to maybe 2/3 judges' votes and 1/3 public votes. DWTS is turning into a popularity contest - not dancing contest, and it's going down the tubes because of that fa …
Hillary-Biden swap talk is nothing new. Is it 'nuts'?
Wed Oct 6, 2010
In politics, nothing is crazy and everything is possible. All it takes is time to change things. Even a woman running for the Senate seat in Delaware went from being a witch to not being a witch (or so she says in her new ad).
Arctic refuge is back as an oil, environment battleground
Fri Oct 1, 2010
You know, I'm so tired of big oil eye-balling ANWR as just another place to drill for oil.
Train wrecks, has-beens and more go 'Dancing'
Tue Aug 31, 2010
Palin a star? Duh, I don't think so! It will be the same routine formula for the eliminations as in the past. Florence Henderson will fizzle out after 2-3 weeks, once the charm of her presence has passed. At least there are other programs on at the same time to watch.
Should New York have cleared the way for a mosque to be built near the World Trade Center site?
Tue Aug 3, 2010
I do not think a mosque should be built at Ground Zero. I understand the thinking on both sides and feel that to have a mosque at the World Trade Center would be an insult to those who died on 9/11 and their surviving families. I do feel okay with a possible compromise to allow the mosque to be buil …
Who would make a good 'Idol' judge?
Fri Jul 30, 2010
Shows like "Idol" and "Dancing with the Stars" are becoming tired, same old, same old, and need a shot of Geritol to maybe get by for one more season. If still DOA, these, and similar reality shows, should be cancelled. I think they've run their course - it's time for a programming change.
